On February 25, the President of the European Ombudsman Institute Professor Dragan
Milkov visited the Commission for Protection against Discrimination of the Republic of Bulgaria
in Sofia. On that occasion, he met with the President of the Commission, Assoc. Prof. .Dr. Ana
Dzhumalieva, and her associates. Discussions were held on the activities of the Commission and
on possible cooperation with the EOI. The President of the Commission presented the EOI
President with the official emblem of the Commission.
In the last two years, representatives of the Bulgarian Commission actively participated in
the Conferences organized by EOI in Dubai and Doha. Therefore, the President of the EOI
officially invited the representatives of the Commission to become full members of the European
Ombudsman Institute.
Am 25. Februar besuchte der Präsident des Europäischen Ombudsmann-Instituts, Univ.
Prof. Dr. Dragan Milkov, die Kommission zum Schutz vor Diskriminierung der Republik
Bulgarien in Sofia. Bei dieser Gelegenheit traf er sich mit der Präsidentin der Kommission,
Dozent Dr. Ana Dzhumalieva und ihre Mitarbeitern. Es wurden Gespräche über die Aktivitäten
der Kommission und über eine mögliche Zusammenarbeit mit der EOI geführt. Die Präsidentin
der Kommission überreichte dem EOI-Präsidenten das offizielle Emblem der Kommission.
In den letzten zwei Jahren nahmen Vertreter der bulgarischen Kommission aktiv an den
von EOI organisierten Konferenzen in Dubai und Doha teil. Daher lud der Präsident des EOI die
Vertreter der Kommission offiziell ein, Vollmitglieder des Europäischen Ombudsmann-Instituts
zu werden.
